Some people seem to have the answers for a perfect morning routine, but for some of us, getting out of bed can be a real challenge. Hitting the snooze button can easily become a morning ritual and doing exercise in the morning is almost a surreal thought. However, if you want to actually cross out this goal from your new year’s resolutions -this year might be the one- and dear one of the most difficult tasks before even facing your entire schedule, you are in the right place. Check the weather

It’s important to check the forecast on the previous night so you can plan your exercise routine. On the modern world we live today, there’s no place for weather excuses.

 

Prepare your clothing

Time is precious and specially during the morning. Try to take out the clothes you are going to wear the next morning.

 

Hydration

This is an important aspect to consider when doing exercise in the morning. Prepare a water bottle and set a specific place near the door, so you don’t forget to take it with you.

 

Nutrition

After 8 hours without eating, it is necessary to nourish the body and more importantly before exercising. You can have some fruit or make a sandwich on the night before. If coffee is a sacred presence in your morning, use a coffee maker with alarm so you can have it right on time.

 

Set the alarm clock

Don’t make it easy for your morning self. Once you set the time -as loud as you can-, place your phone across the room so your future you have to go there in order to turn it off.

 

Turn on the lights

Believe it or not, once your eyes sense the light, they send a signal to the brain that makes you wake up faster and more effectively.

 

Look for an exercise partner

Doing exercise with other people will strengthen your commitment. When there are other people involved, you won’t want to keep them waiting for you.
