This exercise makes sense when you’re going to a beach. Not only is it a great way to have fun, its also a great exercise. You don’t even have to dig sand. Building a sand castle or burying yourself in sand are great ways to burn some calories while you’re on vacation.

Also digging mainly affects the arms, the chest and the back, and carrying around buckets sand will do wonders for your upper body strength. So go out there, and dig around.

Sports and Games Most hotels and resorts have sports facilities, and you can use such facilities to have fun and stay fit. A few minutes at the tennis court, for example, will allow you to lose a few calories. If you have access to a bowling center or a skating rink then an hour or so of skating and bowling will help you stay fit, while allowing you to have a little bit of fun at the same time.
